The much awaited movie by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has come up with its newest stills. The maker of Rang De Basanti will show case the life of athlete Milkha Singh through this flick where actor Farhan Akhtar is portraying Milkha Singh also known as The Flying Sikh.
The still illustrates Farhan Akhtar kissing a foreigner in a pool. This gives an idea that the flick will also be screening the love life of the athlete. The film based on Milkha’s life will make public 1960’s Summer Olympics in Rome and also 1964’s Summer Olympics that took place in Tokyo. In both the events, he not only represented India but also came with gold medals in hand.
The personal life of 77-year-old will also come to light through this flick of how he lost his family members during the India-Pakistan partition. The Flying Sikh looked quite interested in the film as it was noted that Milkha is taking personal interest in the making of the film. He also sold the rights of the film for just Rs. 1 but a part of the money will be given away for the welfare of financially poor athletes. The film that is still in the making has released one of its songs Zinda. The flick is to hit the screen on 12 July.
